The information service website of CAA Finland consists of the Finnish aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, airworthiness notices, customer service forms, approvals and authorisations and CAA publications.
 
Aviation regulations, advisory circulars, customer service forms, airworthiness directives and airworthiness notices are updated on this website as soon as they are published.
 
The files are in PDF format. To open them you need the Adobe Reader program, which can be downloaded free of charge from the website http://www.adobe.com/ .
The collection of aviation regulations and advisory circulars can also be purchased as paper copies, together with the folders to store them.
 
The latest regulations, circulars and airworthiness directives are listed on a separate page, where they are shown for 6 months after they have entered into force. You can also subscribe to an e-mail service to always get a notice when a new regulation or circular is published.
 
Some of the CAA forms can be completed electronically and printed out. Such forms are marked with an asterisk (*). Customer service forms are divided into subgroups in the same way as aviation regulations, and the aviation regulation or advisory circular to which the form relates is mentioned next to the title of each form.
 
 

Search function

 
 
The CAA information service website has a separate search function, which can be used by clicking the ‘Advanced search’ link at the bottom of the page. The service is entirely available only in Finnish, but some aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, airworthiness notices and customer service forms have also been translated into Swedish and/or English.
 
The search function always focuses on those pages and files which are written in the same language as the page from which the search is conducted. For example, if you use the search function from a page written in English, you obtain the results in English.
 
You can download the documents and forms to your own computer, but the download function only works in Finnish. If any changes are made during the day, the files will be updated during the following night.
